Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman Wrestlers need to turn in equipment Thursday February 25th after school.

• For AAU State Tournament ALL wrestlers must weigh in. See flyer for details.
• All Junior Viking Wrestler results are due immediately following AAU State Tournament. Coach Stroh will need them in order to make his picks for awards. A blank results sheet can be downloaded here.
• The USA District 8 flyer has been posted on the Junior Viking Page. Let's finalize our roster by Tuesday, 02/23.
• For Little League / Junior Viking Wrestlers going to the USA District / Regional / State tournaments, starting next week, and running through USA State, we will be combining practice with Francis Howell Central. Practices are ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY AT FRANCIS HOWELL CENTRAL from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

State Tournament

Congratulations to Sean O'Leary and Sean Melson for finishing 2nd in the Missouri State Tournament. See all Individual Results HERE. Congratulations to the team for it's 14th place finish. See all Team Results HERE.

Congratulations to the Francis Howell Wrestling team for taking 2nd place at the Class 4 - District 2 tournament. Congratulations to Jake Long, Sean O'Leary, Kyle Chabela, Sean Melson, Tyler Austin, Alex Langford, Mark Powell, and Chris Wolf for qualifying for the Statue Tournament. The State Wrestling Tournament starts on Thursday, with the Class 4 First Round starting at 5:00 PM. NOTE: the team is staying at the Holiday Inn Executive Center for those traveling to support the team. We would like to see all Francis Howell Wrestling family and friends come out and support the team. Click HERE to get more information on the State Tournament and to follow the tournament. Coaches from around the USA bring their high school teams to the Takedown Machine Camp for one reason only....to learn a Takedown System and get better at wrestling. At the Takedown Machine Camp your son will be on the mat with just 45 +/- kids per week. This camp has filled 8 years in a row. Register early to ensure your spot.

Junior Viking Page

The Junior Viking page has been updated with a link to the Francis Howell Junior Viking Match Results Form. Please follow the link to download and log your wrestler's results. We ask that you log your wrestler's results regularly and report/email them in to jrvikingresults@francishowellwrestling.com . We will log and post results periodically. Keeping results up to date helps in end of year tournament seedings and awards.

Congrats to former Francis Howell wrestling coach Roger Hodapp for being inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. As a coach at Francis Howell, Roger led the Vikings to four state titles and three top four finishes in seven years. He has had a tremendous impact on many athletes life’s while at Francis Howell, including world champion Sam Henson. Roger was inducted to the Hall of Fame on Saturday September 26 at the Sunset Country Club in South St. Louis. See a slideshow here.
